Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Hereling (the "Service"), a web service that shows the cost and revenue of AI features in your applications. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

Who we are

Hereling is operated by Yasin Şimşek, a sole trader based in Aliağa, İzmir, Türkiye. Written enquiries go to support@hereling.com. Payments for the Pro plan are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record and is the seller on your receipt and card statement.

1. The Service

Hereling receives usage data from your application (through our proxy or through usage events you send) and payment events from the payment providers you connect (Stripe, Paddle, RevenueCat). We combine this data and show it to you in a dashboard. You remain responsible for your application, your AI provider accounts, and your payment provider accounts.

2. Your account

You sign in with GitHub. You are responsible for keeping your Hereling project keys confidential. If a key is exposed, rotate it from your dashboard immediately.

3. What we do not do

• We do not store your AI provider API keys. They pass through our proxy in your own request and are never written to disk or logs.
• We do not connect to your database and we never ask for its credentials.
• We do not store the contents of prompts or model responses. We store only numeric and label metadata: tokens, cost, duration, model, your user id, and your feature name.

4. Plans and payment

The Free plan is limited to 10,000 requests per month and 7 days of history, costs nothing and needs no card. Pro costs $25 per month per project, plus any tax due in your country, and is charged to your card when you upgrade.

Pro renews automatically every month on the day you upgraded, at the same price, until you cancel. There is no minimum term. To cancel, open the project in your dashboard, then Settings, then Plan, then "Manage billing"; that opens Paddle's billing page, where you can cancel or change the card. Cancelling stops the next charge and nothing else: the project stays on Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, then returns to the Free plan. Your projects, keys and data stay where they are; only the Free plan's limits apply again, so history older than 7 days stops being shown. After a 30-day grace period, daily cleanup removes older request details. Accounting and payment records have separate retention, explained in our Privacy Policy.

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice; changes apply from your next billing period. See our Refund Policy for refunds and cancellation.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to route traffic you are not authorized to send, to interfere with the Service, or to break any applicable law. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or exceed reasonable usage on the Free plan.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties. If our proxy is unavailable your AI calls may fail; you should be able to switch your base URL back to your provider at any time. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hereling is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or AI provider charges incurred by your application. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

8. Termination

You can permanently delete a project from Settings → Project data after any paid subscription has ended. To request account deletion, contact support@hereling.com. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. Active data and backup copies are handled separately as described in our Privacy Policy.
